Privacy Policy

Alberta Corporate Services (ACS), operated by MRP Corporate Services, collects personal information to prepare and submit Alberta registry filings on your behalf. This policy explains what we collect, why, who sees it and how long we keep it. It is written to comply with Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) [LEGAL REVIEW: confirm applicable statutes].

What we collect

  • Identity and contact details: name, email, phone, address, date of birth where a form requires it, and government-issued ID where a registry agent requires it to file.
  • Business details: corporation names, directors, shareholders, officers, addresses, share structures and the documents we prepare or obtain for you.
  • Payment details: processed by Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers.
  • Website use: pages visited, searches run in our lookup tool, and analytics data (Google Analytics) [LEGAL REVIEW: cookie consent approach].

Why we collect it

To prepare and file your order with Alberta Corporate Registry (through our licensed registry agent partner), a professional regulator, the Canada Revenue Agency or WCB-Alberta; to send you the filed documents and reminders; to answer your questions; to comply with law; and to improve the website.

Who we share it with

  • The licensed Alberta registry agent that submits your filing, and Alberta Corporate Registry.
  • The regulator, CRA or WCB-Alberta named in your order.
  • Service providers that host our systems, process payments and send email, under contracts that limit their use of your information.
  • Anyone else only with your consent or where the law requires it.

Information filed with Corporate Registry becomes part of the public record to the extent the law provides.
