Refund Policy
This policy applies to every order placed on albertacorporateservices.ca. Each price is total fees, plus GST. It covers two things that are treated differently below: the government fee (and any regulator or third-party fee) that we pay on your behalf, and our work: consultation, preparation and filing. A refund includes the GST charged on the amount refunded.
Before we start work
Cancel any time before a trained agent starts preparing your filing and we refund the full amount, including the government fee and GST, to your original payment method within [X] business days. To cancel, reply to your order confirmation email or call (403) XXX-XXXX.
After we start work, before filing
If you cancel after we have started preparing your documents but before anything is filed, we refund the government fee in full, since it has not been paid yet, and [X]% of the rest of the price. If we have already ordered a NUANS report or another third-party product for you, its cost is not refundable.
After filing
Once a document has been submitted to Alberta Corporate Registry, a regulator or the Canada Revenue Agency, the order cannot be cancelled. Government and third-party fees are not refundable once paid to the government or third party.
If a filing is rejected
If Corporate Registry rejects a filing because of an error we made, we correct and re-file it at no charge. If it is rejected because of information you provided (for example, a name that conflicts with an existing corporation despite our warning, or details that were inaccurate), we re-file once at no extra charge for our work; any additional government fee is payable by you.
If we cannot deliver
If we cannot complete your order for a reason within our control, we refund everything you paid.
Chargebacks
Please contact us before disputing a charge with your card issuer. We resolve most concerns within one business day.
How to request a refund
